Some flowers from Tokyo

We got back from Tokyo with way too many flower photos on the camera.

Most of them were taken while wandering around random neighbourhoods,
usually because one of us suddenly stopped walking. all shot on an old digital camera with the flash on.

Sometimes the flowers looked nice.
Sometimes the flash completely ruined them.
We kept those photos anyway.

I think what we liked was how unplanned everything felt.

Flowers beside vending machines.
Outside apartment buildings.
Growing through fences and cracks in the pavement.

We didn’t really know where most of these places were.

We just kept noticing things.

Here are some of our favourites.
